This book is a compilation of five short stories including one new story which was not published in the earlier Hodder edition. So if you're getting this, make sure the cover says 'with a bonus short story' as you can see from the image above.
If you are a Stephen King fan or have read his novels before, you would expect the unexpected and his liking for weird plot. Once you started, you won't be able to stop until you know the ending and that's the reason I could finish this so fast.
All the short stories are not related but they are all under the same theme which bears the question, "What tips someone over the edge to commit a crime?" There is evil in everyone of us but to what extent do we try to keep it locked deep under ourselves? That's what Stephen King explores in this novel. He is truly a master in story-telling especially in digging out the ugly side of human being.
